Super clean halls and comfy rooms! Kids had a blast with all the activities, and I loved how close we were to the park and CityWalk. Breakfast had tons of options, though the food got cold walking to the tables. The staff at the food counters could’ve been friendlier, especially during breakfast rush.

The room was spacious, enhancing our comfort throughout the stay. We chose a ground floor room facing the pool, which added a fun atmosphere for the kids. Temperature control worked well, keeping the space pleasant. A microwave and large fridge easily accommodated our meals, including pizza. cleanliness was an issue; dust behind the bed caused sinus problems for me. The laundry facilities were conveniently close. Noise levels were generally manageable, allowing for restful nights. Despite minor issues, the room setup and amenities made our experience enjoyable for the family.

Incredible location near the parks and Volcano Bay, with efficient, regular transport. The large pool areas were a hit, great for relaxation, though lines at the food spots were a hassle. Retro vibes and staff friendliness made for a pleasant experience. we encountered a cleaning issue upon arrival, with blocked sinks and dusty spaces. Check-in was chaotic, taking far too long at night. Despite these hiccups, the theme was charming. Food options felt repetitive and pricey. With a few adjustments, this place has the potential to shine even brighter!

This resort boasts impressive open spaces that provide a refreshing atmosphere. It’s never crowded. Frequent shuttles to Universal are a lifesaver. Front desk staff is friendly and efficient. I had a spacious, clean room with a fantastic view. The food court is massive, with various tasty options at reasonable prices. I loved the lazy river and pool. maintenance needs attention. Some gates were broken, and room requests based on disability weren’t accommodated properly. Room cleanliness was inconsistent, and I had to call housekeeping daily. Also disappointing were the amenities closing early and overpriced arcade games. It has potential but requires focused improvements in service and upkeep.

The early access to the parks is a game changer. The water slides and lazy river keep the kids entertained all day while the arcade is a solid backup plan.
Some gates needed fixing and a few areas could use a good scrub.

I loved that this place was just a quick walk to Universal's Islands of Adventure and only a short drive to other awesome spots like Volcano Bay and Universal CityWalk, making it perfect for weekend strolls exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and the grounds well-kept which made our stay enjoyable, but the room could use some updating and we had a few issues with the amenities.

The outdoor swimming pool was such a blast! I loved lounging on the sun loungers and soaking in the heated jacuzzi. The friendly staff and quick concierge responses made everything so smooth!

During Christmas, the hotel's theme was super fun, and the amenities were A+. Being close to the water park and having a free shuttle to the theme park made life easier. The lazy river was great for the kids, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience enjoyable.
The long guest services queue and waiting time for food at the diner during busy periods were a bit of a buzzkill. Housekeeping had to be called almost daily for room cleaning, and the bedding had visible stains, giving off a motel-like vibe in terms of cleanliness.

I was really bummed about our room situation. We ended up in a far-off tower, and it took ages to walk back from the parks. Not ideal, especially after a long day, plus the furniture was kind of gross.

From tearing up the bowling alley to check out CityWalk for some amazing food and movies? Yes, please! The pool scene at Cabana Bay was epic with the sweet water slide. Plus, being so close to Universal Orlando's theme parks? Couldn't ask for more!
If I had to ask for more fun, it'd be snagging more party spots near the resort. Let's crank up the party atmosphere to eleven for us young peeps!

The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping us comfortable despite the fluctuating temperatures outside. I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, perfect for starting my mornings with a hot cup of coffee. The sitting area was cozy and a nice spot to relax after a long day of adventures. One thing that stood out to me was the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which made it easy to stay connected and plan out our itinerary. The garden furniture outside added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The room came stocked with free toiletries, a nice added convenience. The AM/FM alarm clock was handy for waking up on time to catch the early park access. Although the flat-screen TV provided some entertainment, I did notice that the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn in places. room service was prompt and efficient, but I did have a small issue with the dry cleaning service. Housekeeping did a good job overall, but the shops/services area could use some improvement as it felt a bit dated. The laundry facilities were helpful, but I encountered some long wait times due to high demand.

universal's cabana bay beach resort was perfect for our family trip. we arrived early and found our two adjacent rooms ready, allowing us to get to the parks right away. the main restaurant had excellent and convenient food options, and the bus ride to the park was just minutes away, with the bus always waiting for us. the retro theming was well done, and the kids loved all the fun things available for them.
There was nothing i didn't like 😉

the hotel was super clean and comfy - just a short walk to the universal parks. loved the early admission perk and the convenient shuttle service. also, the option to exchange pool tubes for a packaged one to take home was a nice touch.

I had a blast at the huge swimming pool with a dive tower-themed water slide, sand beach, lazy river, and a cool bar. The retro beach resort theme was a fun touch.
I just loved dragging my heavy luggage across the resort and waiting hours for a messy room.

The hotel's beachside tower was fabulous for my family. We enjoyed delicious food for breakfast and lunch. The pool areas were great, and the bus service to the theme parks was convenient. The memories made were priceless. I'll recommend this hotel.

Loved the clean and comfortable rooms for families, the beautiful grounds with a pool by the diner, and the easy shuttle to nearby attractions. The poolside atmosphere at night with lit palm trees and fire pits was stunning.
GPS was confusing, lack of clear directional signs, long check-in wait, gated sections needing room key access at all times, extra fees for lazy river tubes, and overall disappointment compared to online expectations.

Our stay at this retro-themed resort was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking view from our room overlooked the Volcano Bay water park, and the fast elevators to the 8th floor were a pleasant surprise. Being in close proximity to Universal Studios and Disney was a major plus, as we could easily enjoy the parks with our daughter and her family. The resort itself surpassed our expectations - the gardens were lush, the pool atmosphere was amazing, and the attentive lifeguards made us feel safe. We were delighted by the friendly staff at the pool bar and the late-night bowling alley restaurant. The cleanliness of the room and facilities was acceptable, and the gift shop staff were informative and helpful. The resort's transportation service was also highly convenient. we loved the retro feel, the amenities, and the incredible view, which made us frequent visitors over the past four months.
More variety in food options, particularly quick grab-and-go choices, would greatly enhance the dining experience. Offering an all-inclusive option with a bracelet for guests would be a game-changer, as it is difficult to find such an offering in Orlando.
